In order to implement and maintain a tax qualified retirement plan successfully, a strong, cooperative interface between employer, employee, pension administration firm and financial advisors must be established. Because of the increasingly complex government regulations governing the operation of tax qualified plans, the role each entity plays in the operation of the plan must be clearly defined and thoroughly understood. The Omega Pension Group has years of experience in helping to establish these critical networks, and in helping to direct the flow of crucial information to all parties involved. Described below are some of the methods we use to forge these cooperative relationships.

 

EMPLOYER/EMPLOYEE INTERFACE

INTERFACE

1 - We personally meet with the Employer to discuss retirement plan needs and goals.

2 - We personally meet with the Employees to answer questions regarding plan structure and plan provisions.

3 - We help company staff learn their responsibilities in providing necessary employee census and plan trust data to our office.

4 - We help with the enrollment of new employees into 401(k) and other retirement plans.

5 - We provide technical consulting assistance to the Employer and Employees.

1 - We personally meet with accountants, lawyers, and other company financial advisors to define plan goals.

2 - We work with the advisor who will provide plan trust information, to develop a format and the procedures for reporting plan data.

3 - We work closely with the Employer's advisors throughout the plan year to resolve special issues.

4 - We work with agents & brokers for insurance carriers and other financial institutions who provide individual Participant Directed Accounting for 401(k) plans, as well as other plan trust custodial and investment duties.

5 - We provide technical consulting assistance to financial advisors.
